President's
Message |
|

We have elected an outstanding group of
club officers for the 2010-11 Rotary Year! Our
election took place at our Annual Meeting on Tuesday,
November 17th. The election was for members of our
club board including President Elect, Secretary,
Treasurer, and three Directors. The Director
positions are for a two-year term. The terms for
the Secretary and Treasurer are one
year. Guy Lynch was elected to the position
of President Elect for the 2010-11 Rotary Year. He will
begin serving in that position on July 1, 2010 and will
assume the position of President of our club on July 1,
2011. Donna Coonrad, our current Secretary,
agreed to continue serving in that position for another
year. Lynn Mosier, our current Treasurer, also
agreed to serve for another year in her position.
Thanks to both of them for continuing to serve the club
in these very important positions. The club
board consists of the club President, President Elect,
Immediate Past President, Secretary, Treasurer, and six
Directors. Three of our current Directors, Ken
Coonrad, Susan Cooper, and Dennis Filangeri have terms
which expire at the end of the 2010-11 Rotary
Year. So these positions were not up for
election. Three of our current Directors
have terms ending at the end of this Rotary Year.
Two of them, Judith Filangeri and Spencer Horn, agreed
to run for reelection and were elected to new terms
running through the 2010-11 and 2011-12 Rotary
Years. Finally, Angela Brooks was elected
to serve as a Director, replacing Neil Roth when his
term ends at the end of this Rotary Year. Neil is
stepping down because his extensive travel schedule
makes it difficult for him to attend board
meetings. Congratulations to all of the newly
elected officers. These are vital positions
for the future of our club. So, here too The
Future of Rotary is in Your
Hands. |

earned. This only applies to the Cheyenne
