26 - Four-Way Test Speech Contest.
Rotary International District 5300 hosts a Four-Way Test
Speech Contest each year. This year the theme is Rotary
Shares. Rotary Clubs throughout the District invite
students from local high schools to compete. Local Clubs
volunteer to host Group and Regional Level contests. The
Four-Way Test finals are always a highlight of the
District Conference. The first place prize is $5000. The
three runners-up will receive $1500 each. This Week's Service

Our visiting Rotarian continues to be George
Eichacker, Keokuk, Iowa. Our guests included Ron
Kirch's wife, Barbara, and Angela Brook's daughter,
Malaika. We also hosted Dr. Cathy Conger, principal of
Ronzone Elementary, Kim Raham, teacher leader of the
Ronzone Dance Team, and Martha Alcantor, one of
Ronzone's Dance Team members, with her mom,
Guadalupe. We also had Cenda Rinehart, guest of
the Petersons, Ken Sprenkle, guest of Neil Roth, and
Nichole Gardner, guest of Michael Flint.
