Next Week

February 26 - Four-Way Test Speech Contest.  Rotary International District 5300 hosts a Four-Way Test Speech Contest each year. This year the theme is Rotary Shares. Rotary Clubs throughout the District invite students from local high schools to compete. Local Clubs volunteer to host Group and Regional Level contests. The Four-Way Test finals are always a highlight of the District Conference. The first place prize is $5000. The three runners-up will receive $1500 each.

March 3 - The Southern Nevada Foundation Dinner honoring all Paul Harris Fellows and contributors will be held at the Gold Coast.  Tickets are $60.  The speaker will be Wilf Wilkinson, current RI President.  Please contact Bryan Land if you'd like to attend.

March 4 - LVNW Rotary will be DARK since we'll all have been out late the previous Monday night for the Fellowship Dinner

April 5 - 8 a.m. to noon, 2008-2009 District Assembly, Etiwanda Gardens, Etiwanda, CA, preceded on April 4th by the Friendship Dinner to be held at the Chino Airport Air Museum. President-Elect Jim Cady will be arranging accommodation for those members of next year's board who wish to attend.
