community and government relations for The Howard Hughes
Corporation, which developed Summerlin, and which funds
the annual Summerlin Community Gift. Mr. Warden
will be speaking on the current and future growth of
Summerlin. Mark Your Calendar

2 - The Rotary Club of Las Vegas North is
holding its annual fundraiser at Texas Station, their
Person of the Year being Jim Rogers. Tickets are
$125 a person. Cliff Marcek is the point person for the
fundraiser.
March
3 - The Southern Nevada Foundation Dinner
honoring all Paul Harris Fellows and contributors will
be held at the Gold Coast. Tickets are $60.
The speaker will be Wilf Wilkinson, current RI
President.

We had a good turnout, with visiting Rotarians George
Eichacker, of Keokuk, Iowa, and Dave Ruprecht of Sierra
Madre, CA. Also, Ken Sprenkle, Executive Director
of the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, came as a guest of Neil
Roth, and Glenn Trowbridge, Executive Director of
Government Relations for the National Electrical
Contractors Association, returned as guest of Bob
Beers.
