    Avenues of Service
    Joe Germain

    Club Leadership Program - Joe Germain gave a very brief rundown of the changes in structure of our board to bring us into compliance with the new Rotary Club leadership Program. He also described the Young Eagle Society for new Rotarians, a program our club uses to familiarize new Rotarians with Rotary.

    Membership - Darrell Cavanaugh reminded members of the membership process.

    Advertising Opportunity - We are now taking orders for advertising on our club website and e- newsletter for Jul-Sep 2007. A 200X200 ad costs just $50 and a 200X100 ad costs just $35 per quarter. Free design and customization is available. Click here for details.

    Child Focus Fund Raiser - Edmee Marcek is working on putting together a table and collecting ticket money for the Mother's Day Tea to raise money for Child Focus. She needs volunteers. Contact Edmee for more information.

    Corazon Project May 17, 2008 - Tom Lott of the LV West Club is the Southern Nevada Chair for the 2008 Corazon Project. We've been asked for the level of commitment we can make towards sponsoring and building one house. Click here for details.

    Rotary Information

    Hosts Sought for Visiting Rotarians - Dennis Filangeri, a member of Rotary's International Travel & Hosting Fellowship, was contacted by a Rotarian couple coming to Vegas after the International Conference in Salt Lake City. They'd like to stay at a Rotarian home if possible. Dennis offered to host volunteer hosts for dinner for the visitors since he can't put them up himself. Please let him know.

    Drivers Sought for GSE Team Visit - Wenlee is looking for drivers willing to transport some of the visiting GSE team members to and from various locations on April 22. Please let her know if you can help.

    Friends of Scouting Breakfast - For those interested in supporting the scouts, Paul Workman reports there is a breakfast on April 18th at the Mandalay Bay. Contact Paul for more information.
