and 24 are holding a Far West Giddyup Reception on June 16,

The Gladiators: Sam Jankovich, President and General
Manager of the Las Vegas Gladiators, gave us some highlights
of the team's amazing successes and the challenges related to
the professional Arena Football League. His goal is to make
Arena League Football more accessible to people, making a day
at the game into a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon with
your family or your date. Ron promised to try to put together
a Gladiators Game Day for the club.

All members are reminded to turn in the Spring Fest ticket
sales to Jim Cady so he can confirm the guaranteed number for
the Suncoast. Don’t let this stop you from selling additional
tickets after that. This is definitely a case of “More is
Better.”

Holly Herron spoke to us briefly about her experiences as
Ambassadorial Scholar in the University of Queensland,

District 5300 held its Board of Directors Training
Session on March 24 at the Doubletree. Attending from our club
were Cliff, Joe, Neil, Jim C, Jim W, Angela, Lynn, Greg, and
Dennis F. The meeting was well attended by other area club
members. There was a lot of information about changes coming
down the pike.

Rotaract: This past week, March 12-18, was World
Rotaract Week. Rotaract is the future of Rotary. Rotaract
is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women
ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are usually community-based or
university-based and are sponsored by a local Rotary club
making them true "partners in service" and key members of the
Rotary family.
