Visiting Rotarians and Guests
There's no fellowship in an empty chair. Your
guests and visiting Rotarians help kindle the flame of
fellowship
Visit to LV West Rotary Michael Flint will be
leading a few of our members who might like to attend the
January 16 meeting of the Las Vegas West Rotary Club on
Tuesday January 16th at Noon at Canyon Gate Country Club. The
speaker is Sam Jankovich, General Manager of the Las Vegas
Gladiators.
Attending another club’s meeting counts as a Rotary
attendance make up, but you’re welcome to attend even if you
don’t need the make up. Email Michael Flint
(NewClients@aol.com) if you plan to attend or if you have any
questions.

President's Message
“The sailing of a boat in fair weather is not the best test
of seamanship; the maintenance of good cheer when everything
is coming one's way is not the best test of disposition; the
pursuit of an enemy who is on the run, is not the best test of
courage.” Paul P. Harris, in The Rotarian, February 1932

Vocational Service? Rotary always works to
identify and develop future leaders. We sponsor an interact
club and our club has gone a step further with Kideract! For
more information about RI youth programs visit the RI site or

PayPal We have completed setting up our own
PayPal account. We can now take donations online using PayPal
or credit cards. This will facilitate collections for our
projects.
Furthermore, we will also be able to
streamline our dues collection procedures. Doug and the board
are currently working out the details.
The Ad Store is Now Open We are not taking
subscriptions for newsletter and web ads for April-June and
beyond. Visit

Have You Seen This Rotarian?
This Rotarian has been wandering around for a while,
but no one has seen him in years. You probably have a hidden
Rotarian in you too. Let's bring them out. Announcing our
Beautiful Baby Contest. Over the next few weeks
we will collect your favorite childhood images. Everyone will
have an opportunity to identify the Rotarian hidden in the
picture.
There will be a prize given to the person who can
correctly identify the most "Rotarians in the Rough" as well
as a prize for the picture of the Rotarian who has been
identified the least--no telling anyone which is your
picture.
Any picture of you, black and white, or color, print,
slide, or digital can be used. We will scan prints and slides
if you like and return the pictures in the same condition in
which you presented them. Pictures must be of you from high
school age or younger (sorry no sonograms or X-rays). You may
enter up to three pictures--this often confuses the
contestants.
