Last Week's Program |
Nancy Deaner and Cindy Funkhauser brought us up do date on
LV's First Friday program. This is a terrific arts and
cultural event that takes place every first Friday of the
month in the Arts District off Charleston Boulevard East
between Oakey and Bonneville and I-15 and Seventh.
If you haven't been there, try-it, you'll like it. Art,
music, antiques, culture, food. What more can you ask for?
Visit the website for more information.

Palo Interact Gets Underway On Monday September 18,
Neil Roth officiated at the first meeting of the 2006 Palo
Verde Interact Club. Paul Wexler also participated. Over 20
students attended the meeting where they talked about various
projects and fund raising events the club will be involved
with, while munching on pizza. The club meets every other
Monday in the school library at 1:30. All members are invited
to attend one of their meetings and help participate in their
events. Contact our
Interact Chair, Neil
Roth, for details.
NALA Update
Next Tuesday a 9:00 am after our regular meting at TPC, we
will have a planning session at NALA with the contractor group
put together by Paul Workman. Everyone who can make it is
invited. Please let me know if you plan to attend so I can let
NALA know how many will be coming. For those of you who are
not aware, the Club is upgrading a small playground used by
the children. We hope everyone will get involved.
NALA
is at 323 N. Maryland Parkway near the Cashman Center.
