Cliff held his inaugural Rotary Retreat last Saturday at TPC. The meeting was well planned and attended by your new board of directors. We're very excited about the program going forward.

There's no doubt that Cliff will live up to this year's Rotary theme: Lead the Way. One of Cliff's goals is to improve communications and public relations, so we get good public recognition for all the great projects we undertake.

We are currently updating our website and making some enhancements to our weekly e-newsletter. You can visit our website on a new URL at http://lvnwrotary.org.

We would like to add some regular features to 'Round the Wheel like a president's message and featured committee reports. To expedite the publications, we will endeavor to get the newsletter our over the weekend prior to the next meeting. If you have contributions you would like included, please email to: webmaster @lvnwrotary.org by Thursday for inclusion in the next 'Round the Wheel.

We are inducting a new member, Dennis Filangeri (aka Alfredo Fettucini--ask Michael Flint). Dennis has been a Rotarian since 1990 and is past president of the San Diego Uptown Sunrise Rotary Club.

July 18 - Two presentations: one re: fishing at Adam Graham's Lodge and one about the Rotary International Convention. All presentations by Club Members.
July 25 - Clark Dumont, Nevada Cancer Institute
August 1 - Barbara Strahl, Senior Mediation Specialist at the Neighborhood Justice Center.
August 8 - Las Vegas Ronald McDonald House (name will be provided later).

The fireside for July will be at PE Joe (Guisseppe--ask Michael Flint) Germain's home, 8216 Desert Beach Drive in La Jolla Classics. The gate code is #2500 and the phone is 304-1944. We will have cocktails from 6:30 to 7:00 and dinner at 7:00. Fresh salmon caught by Rotarians is on the menu!
